SIA Security Guard Training
You are required to undergo appropriate training if you wish to work as a security gurad in the uk. The security gurad training is a three training course, at the end of the third day you shall be tested and if you qualify you would be recieving your security guarding level 2 certificate in approximately ten working days. The examination material is provided by the concerned awarding body. Once you get your security guard certficate you can then apply for your security guarding licencse form SIA. SIA will process your application on individual basis and usually you shall recieve your license in 25 working days. The Security guarding training and license is for individuals who wish to protect property and people from assualt and damage etc. Usually people do not opt for this course and we have found them to be intrested in the door supervision qualification rather than the security gaurding course. The reasons for this choice are obvious because with a door supervision license and qualification you can work as a door supervisor as well as a security guard and you do not need two licenses for that.
The security guarding training is at basic level 2 training which means that it is very basic in nature and if you are comfortable with the english language you shall not have any problems to qualify.

Working in the private security industry
This is a common module for all security related qualifications, you shall be taught the basics about the industry
Working as a security guard
This is the specialist module for the security guarding course and delberates upon the roles and responsibilities of a security officer
Conflict management
As security officers you shall be required to deal with certain situatiions and diffuse aggitated and frustrated customers from time to time
